Get moving…

I have a client who is a retired high school counselor. Early in 2007 she decided she wanted to try acting on television or in commercials or even films as a second career. We put together a game plan for her and she followed it. We figured out what the holes were in her skill set and we planned her class schedule accordinlgy. She was also diligent about updating her marketing materials to meet industry standards. She had been scammed by a bad photographer and lived to tell the tale. Now her photos are great. Her resume looks sparse but professional and she wins over every person she meets.

This client just got signed across the board at a very reputable agency. Six months ago she did not think she was capable of ever doing more than background work. Since then she has booked a number of commercials on her own and recently went in for a new film Oprah Winfrey is attached to. She continues to correspond with every casting director agent producer or director she has ever met when she has some great news to report. In turn, the great news just keeps coming.

Get moving, people. There is not one reason this story couldn’t be about you.
